What are the benefits of e-Learning?

E-learning is all about convenience and flexibility. Study around your work or lifestyle commitments, at times convenient for you. Reduce time and cost by not having to attend classes at a physical location. Study when and where you like without the stress of deadlines or time limits, and complete your course at your own pace.

How much time do I need to commit?

We work hard to make sure you gain the results you deserve but, that said, you do need to put the work in. Each course curriculum indicates the average length of time required to complete each session which lasts around 30 – 60 minutes. Practical exercises are designed between courses so that you can take the time to consider how these new ideas may fit into your workplace.

Work at your own pace, however, an essential element of courses are the ‘exercises’ that you do between sessions. The more effort you put in here will gain you greater results. We recommend you spend no longer than 90 minutes on each session which includes ‘exercises’.

Can I complete courses in a faster time?

By all means. We would say, however, that by joining one of our courses, you will benefit by working through at a steady pace ideally over a number of weeks. Otherwise, if you wish to crack on, please do although we do although we find that practical application takes time and is best not rushed. Remember the fable of the hare and the tortoise!

Can I study from outside the UK?

Of course, we currently welcome international learners from North America and Europe. (Due to current international VAT regulations if you are purchasing from outside the United Kingdom we ask that you inquire directly so that we can charge VAT at the local prevailing rate). All courses are designed to be delivered via e-learning so that you can complete courses from anywhere in the world. Being British, we do make some references to British business life, but that will not affect your learning. Indeed, we hope it enhances it.

Do you provide face to face training?

Yes, we provide both face-to-face training programmes according to demand. We also run our Signature Programmes as one-day workshops across various UK locations. Specially designed to ensure delegates learn essential principles and techniques of marketing. These participative implementation programmes provide valuable opportunity to work on your critical issues while working with your peers. Do I need qualifications or experience before enrolling?

Each course is available to anyone from any academic background. Please check the level specified in the course overview if you have any concerns. However, most courses assume you have some practical business experience. If concerned, please contact a member of the team.

Can I study more than one course at a time?

Absolutely! You’ll find that by studying this way you create a steady flow of work for yourself. Many courses are highly complementary to one another and work well together. Each course includes several subject areas so that you get a full 360 approach.

When do courses start?

Except for our Signature and Executive Programmes, our e-learning management system means you have immediate access to course material online as soon as enrollment is complete, giving you the freedom to plan studies around your lifestyle or work commitments.

Complete each course using your unique online student account, and from here you can get in touch with the course leader who will come back to you within 48 hours. You need a standard web browser, on a desktop or tablet and there’s no complicated plug-in software required. You have the option of printing course material if you feel more comfortable working with pen and paper.

What do I need to start?

As all learning is carried out online, a decent broadband connection is required. There is no software to download, and your learning platform is exclusively yours so you can return to where you left off. We do recommend you have a quiet area to study in and ideally a pair of headphones if distractions are likely. Also, a printer is useful to print off worksheets.

How do I know which course is right for me?

We understand you may be feeling apprehensive so, if you are in any doubt, we encourage you to contact us and have a chat. Our bite-sized courses offer practical tools and techniques, whereas our programmes concentrate on implementation and accountability. Rest assured you’ll receive sound and impartial advice with no strings attached.

When are courses available?

Our Bite-sized Courses and our Online Signature Programmes are available as soon as enrollment is complete. Signature Programmes are also available as face to face workshops with Nicky and Liz of between two and three days. On these, we work specifically on your business issues and determine a path that is right for you as we are conscious every business is different, and our job is to ensure that you implement what you learn to gain as much as possible.

We encourage you to complete assigned exercises before you move through the modules, which are self-paced. There are around 24 hours of training inside each Signature Programme, broken up into easily digestible subjects, modules, and exercises. Bite-sized Courses should take no more than 8 hours if completed end to end.

How do Signature Programmes work?

Programmes are intensive blended courses supported by both Nicky and Liz so that you can walk through any questions you have surrounding your business. We either run these as face to face workshops in various UK locations, predominately across the South Coast, over one to three days or via our learning platform within a private Facebook community. In our member community, you are encouraged to share your updates, questions and worksheets. You’ll be able to ask questions, get feedback and connect with fellow members and coaches online. The more you take part, the more you will get back.

Programmes may include several complementary courses which may be completed separately online at a time convenient to you.

What support do you offer?

Bite-sized Courses offer email support and workbooks, questions, and quizzes for you to complete online. Our Signature and Executive Programmes include face-to-face support, email support and accountability video chats plus membership to our Private Facebook Group where we hold regular Facebook Live sessions.

What qualifications do the team have?

We have over 40 years practical marketing, sales and business experience between us! Each course is supported by a course trainer who is an experienced business professional, qualified through the Chartered Institute of Marketing. You can be confident you’ll receive all the support you need.

How do I pay?

We use a secure payment portal that accepts any major credit card. If you wish to pay via a different method, please contact hello@themarketingmenu.com to discuss.

How long will I be able to access Bite-sized Courses?

Each online course is available for 365 days from the date of enrollment.

Are payment plans available?

You may spread payments over several weeks on some Programmes for which there will be a small surcharge to cover administration costs. Please see detailed information on each to see if this option is available.

Is Value Added Tax included?

Prices exclude VAT, which is chargeable at your local currency rate and will be clearly reflected on the payment gateway. If you have difficulties, please do get in touch.

Do you offer discounts for multiple courses?

Yes, if you decide to take several bite-sized courses or if you wish to train more than one person, we do offer discounts. We need you to telephone us to discuss this so that we can ensure you are correctly charged. The following discounts apply.

  • Five courses – 5% discount overall
  • Ten courses – 10% discount overall
  • Fifteen courses – 15% discount overall
  • Twenty courses – 20% discount overall
  • More than 20 courses – By arrangement

Can I get my employer to pay?

Asking your company to pay for your studies is never comfortable. However, employers are increasingly investing in employee training and development to enhance performance in the workplace. With distance learning, employers know you will be able to study flexibly, around work commitments.

As an employer can we use these courses?

As an employer, you know that investing in targeted, relevant training can have a powerful impact on your business. Not only does it help staff feel more valued within the company, but it also has a considerable effect on performance and motivation.

Providing the tools to ensure your team with an opportunity to learn at their own pace and potentially in their own time is a useful training tool. We can either brand courses for you or design something unique, ideal if you wish to run courses for new team members.

Can I get everything done that is needed?

The last thing we want to do is add another project that doesn’t completely change the success path of your business. The way we see it, we can’t imagine that you CAN’T do this. We all have 24 hours in a day, and you must maximise every minute spent and prioritise your time. This system has long-ranging positive effects on your business outlook.

Is training delivered live?

All Bite-Sized Courses are via recorded videos and audio. You can go at your own pace and access the training anytime, from anywhere you have an internet connection! We may use a webinar platform from time to time depending on the type of content being delivered.

Will it work?

Will this work if you join us, and then don’t participate? NO!

If you feel that after you have completed four modules (modules are classed as videos, and we can see your progress! ) and complete your worksheet within 30 days, and still feel that you have not gotten your money’s worth, we will give a full refund.

Be certain; we will hold you accountable on the last point – you have to do the work to be eligible for a refund.

We would like to speak to you on the phone or Skype to understand the situation before submitting the refund so that we can learn what improvements we can make. Do I have to participate in Facebook Groups?

Not at all but our Facebook Group for Signature and Executive Programmes is where many of our conversations, support questions, and conversations with other members happens. It is where you’re going to form relationships with people who can give support. We encourage everyone on our programmes to join our Facebook Group because it drives IMMENSE value.

Do you allow others to run Marketing Menu courses as their own?

Yes, and we allow our courses to be white labelled with your company branding. We supply you with licenses that can be used over a period of time. Please contact us to discuss.
